There is a cheap way for a telehealth company to add Louisiana, and most take it: one more line in the state dropdown, the same anonymous service behind it. New Genesis Vitality opens a state the slow way. We do not treat patients anywhere until the practice is licensed there and the clinicians who will serve it hold licenses there too, under their own names. The fee schedule arrived intact and fully published: $129 for the initial consultation in our Metabolic Correction (GLP-1) program, $99 for each follow-up, lab panels from $99, and any medication quoted at the pharmacy’s pass-through price before it is prescribed. Cash-pay weight loss in Louisiana means the practice publishes its fees, you pay them directly, and eligibility, pace, and price are set by medicine rather than by an insurance plan’s rules. The medicine itself is unchanged by the billing: lab work comes before prescriptions, the consultation is with a provider licensed in Louisiana, and medication comes only from regulated US pharmacies, at a price quoted to you in advance. The bargain runs one way and stays honest: we never bill an insurer, and no insurer decides your eligibility or pace here. Superbills are provided if you want to pursue HSA or FSA reimbursement under your account’s rules.
Care starts with numbers of the medical kind. The panel itself gets ordered during your consultation, with pricing that begins at $99, and the panel’s price is the entire lab cost, whichever panel your provider orders: the Quest draw and your provider’s review of the results are already inside it, with no separate charge for either. Quest’s network covers Louisiana, so a draw location is close by whether you are in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Shreveport, Lafayette, or Monroe. Every panel is described on our lab testing page. Recent results from another practice can substitute: your provider judges whether they are current and complete enough, and when they are, the $99 panel simply is not needed.
Plan on roughly 30 minutes for the first visit: one-on-one by video, with a Louisiana-licensed provider, and with evening and weekend slots on the calendar for people whose days are already full. Expect the conversation to work through your history, your labs, and everything you have tried before, since those three things are the raw material any real plan is built from. The visit happens wherever in Louisiana you happen to be.
If your provider determines that GLP-1 class medication is medically appropriate for you, it is billed separately at pass-through pharmacy pricing, and the exact figure reaches you before anything is prescribed. The decision to proceed at that price belongs to you, made while the quote is still an offer rather than a bill.
Follow-ups are $99, usually run about 15 minutes, and keep the plan aligned with your labs and your response. If a prescription is refilled between scheduled appointments, the charge is a flat $10, printed in this fee schedule in advance.
Take the base $99 panel and the arithmetic is public: $129 for the consultation, $99 for labs, $228 to the clinic across your first month. If usable recent labs replace the panel, month one is the $129 consultation by itself. Medication stays out of that sum on purpose: your quote is individual, and it becomes a cost only after you have said yes to it. One further disclosure, so the list is complete: if you and your provider later add peptide therapy protocols to your care, that care is billed at the regular Advanced Peptide consultation fees of $199 initial and $149 follow-up.
