You have done the homework. Anyone who has spent twenty-plus years managing a family’s healthcare does it on reflex: the open tabs, the quiz funnels you abandoned the moment they demanded an email address before showing a price, the subscription pages with stock photos of lab coats and no last names inside them. Somewhere around the third GLP-1 website, you noticed what was missing from all of them. Not the price. Not the promises. The doctor.
That instinct is the right one, and this page was built to survive it. Below you will find the names and credentials of the Florida-licensed physicians who handle these consultations, every fee we charge, and exactly what has to happen, in what order, before anyone writes a prescription. Vet us the way you were already vetting everyone else. Texas patients can see our dedicated Texas GLP-1 weight loss for women over 45 page.
Florida is one of the most heavily marketed states for weight loss in the country: billboards, med spa promotions, and national telehealth apps that treat the state as a shipping zone with palm trees. Yet Florida is also a state that takes telehealth seriously as medicine. Section 456.47, Florida Statutes sets the rules under which telehealth care is delivered to Florida patients, and the clinicians treating you are accountable under Florida law. Which means the question the ads never answer is one you are entitled to ask: who, by name, is the physician responsible for my care?
Here, the answer is printed further down this page. New Genesis Vitality is a physician-led telehealth practice, and GLP-1 consultations for Florida patients are handled by Florida-licensed physicians whose names and credentials you can read before you spend a dollar.
One more piece of plain education before the details. GLP-1 class medications are prescription medicines related to a hormone your body already produces, one involved in appetite and blood-sugar regulation. Whether that class of medication belongs in your care is a question your lab work and history answer, not your ad feed.
A GLP-1 weight loss program for women over 45 in Florida, at New Genesis Vitality, is physician-led medical weight care delivered by telehealth to patients located in Florida. It pairs comprehensive lab work, ordered during your consultation, with a 30-minute video visit with a Florida-licensed physician, an individualized plan that may include GLP-1 class medication where medically appropriate, and follow-up visits that re-check the plan against fresh results. Initial consultations are $129, follow-ups $99, and lab panels start at $99.
If the weight change you are dealing with is specifically a menopause-transition story, our menopause weight loss in Florida page addresses that lane directly, and the same Florida physicians see you on either path.
The structure of this program is a sequence of disclosures. At each point, you hold the information before you owe the next dollar.
Florida GLP-1 consultations are with Jeff Beaty, DO, Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine and Certified in Peptide Medicine; Brad Wasson, DO, Board-Certified Family Medicine and Longevity Specialist; or Jeffrey McWilliams, MD, Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician. All three hold active Florida licenses, and the provider who will treat you is named before you confirm the booking, not revealed afterward.
The initial visit is 30 minutes by video, with evening and weekend slots, from wherever you are in Florida. Expect it to run on your history: what your weight has done over the last several years, what you have tried, what medications you take, what you want the next year to look like. Your physician orders your lab panel during this visit; panels start at $99, and the panel price is your only lab cost, with the Quest draw and the review of your results both included. Quest locations across Florida handle the draw. If you already hold recent blood work, bring it, and it becomes your baseline at no charge. The lab menu for Florida patients lives on our lab testing in Florida page.
Where your results support GLP-1 class medication, it enters the plan as one component, billed separately at the pharmacy’s pass-through price. That number is quoted to you before anything is prescribed, and the decision to proceed at that number is yours. No bundled mystery, no medication cost discovered on a statement.
Follow-up visits are $99, usually about 15 minutes, and they exist to keep the plan honest against new lab results and your actual experience living with it. Plans get revised here; that is a feature of medical care, not a flaw in the original plan.
Every fee, in the open. Your initial consultation is $129, and every follow-up after it is $99. A lab panel starts at $99, and if recent blood work you already hold can serve as the baseline, the lab line disappears entirely. When a prescription does get written, the medication bills on its own at the pharmacy’s pass-through figure, and you will have that number in hand before deciding. Refills between scheduled appointments carry a $10 prescription charge, and if you and your physician later add peptide protocols to your care, that care bills at the regular Advanced Peptide consultation fee of $199 initial and $149 follow-up. We operate as a cash-pay practice and provide superbills you can use toward HSA or FSA reimbursement. The complete fee list lives on our pricing page, and what paying this way means for a Florida weight-loss patient is laid out on our cash-pay weight loss in Florida page.

Because you are reading this page to check exactly this kind of thing: New Genesis Vitality is staffed by US Board-Certified Physicians and Practitioners with over 80 years of combined experience. The medical reviewer of this page is Jeni Baker, MD, Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician and The Women’s Vitality Physician, who leads the practice’s women’s health content. Your Florida consultations themselves are with Dr. Beaty, Dr. Wasson, or Dr. McWilliams, the Florida-licensed physicians named above. The practice’s broader Florida team and how telehealth works in the state are covered on our telehealth in Florida page.
You were never going to hand this decision to a billboard, and you should not have to. The names are on this page, the fees are published, and the labs come before any prescription decision.
