Telehealth for East Texas: Physician-Led Care Without the Drive

East Texas patient at home on a video telehealth visit with a New Genesis Vitality provider.

If you live in East Texas, you already know the math. The specialist you need is rarely in your town: the appointment is in Dallas, or Houston, or a clinic two counties over, and getting there costs a half day of driving before anyone even looks at your chart. New Genesis Vitality was built for a different math. We are a physician-led telehealth practice serving Texas, staffed by US Board-Certified Physicians and Practitioners with over 80 years of combined experience, and every visit happens by video. Whether you searched for a telehealth clinic in East Texas, an online doctor, medical weight loss in Longview, or peptide therapy in Tyler, the care is the same: labs first, a licensed clinician on your screen, and no highway in between.

East Texas Drives for Its Health Care. It Shouldn’t Have To.

From Tyler to Texarkana, from Marshall to Nacogdoches, the pattern repeats: primary care may be close, but specialty and preventive care means distance. Patients put off metabolic workups, weight loss consultations, and recovery care because the round trip is the hardest part of the appointment.

Here is what makes New Genesis Vitality different from the national subscription apps that also show up in your search results: our clinicians are not strangers to this region. Three of the clinic’s Texas clinicians are based in East Texas: Keith Kirbow, APRN, Dr. Jeffrey McWilliams, MD, and Jean Davi Pellegalle, APRN, MSN, FNP-C. A fourth, Dr. Jeff Beaty, has practiced emergency medicine in East Texas since the late 1990s; he has spent his career treating this region’s patients on their worst days. When you book a visit, there is a real chance the clinician on your screen understands exactly how far you live from the nearest specialist, because they live and work in the same part of the state.

One thing to be clear about, because it matters: we are telehealth only. There is no office in Tyler, Longview, or anywhere else, and no in-person visits. Locality here means your providers are from this region, not that you drive to see them. Care arrives by video, wherever in East Texas you are.

Licensed in Texas, Accountable to the Texas Medical Board

Every provider who treats our Texas patients holds an active Texas license and practices under Texas Medical Board oversight. That accountability is the line between a medical practice and an app with a logo. We are not a wellness spa. We are a precision medical practice. You can read the backgrounds of two of the East Texans on the team on their profiles: Dr. Jeffrey McWilliams, MD, Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician and Telehealth Innovator, and Keith Kirbow, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, a dual-board-certified nurse practitioner in family practice and psychiatry.

What East Texas Patients Come to Us For

  • Medical weight loss. Metabolic Correction (GLP-1) consultations are $129 for the initial visit and $99 for follow-ups. GLP-1 class medications are considered only after labs and a clinical evaluation. Texas weight loss consultations are handled by Dr. Beaty and Jean Davi Pellegalle, APRN, MSN, FNP-C, which means an East Texas patient’s weight-loss visit is handled by clinicians with deep roots in this region: Pellegalle is based in East Texas, and Dr. Beaty has practiced emergency medicine here since the late 1990s. Both see patients by video only.
  • Advanced Peptide Therapy. Protocol design is $199, follow-ups $149. This is prescription medical care in a regulated category: labs reviewed first, prescriptions filled only through 503A/503B regulated US pharmacies with US-sourced ingredients, never research chemicals. We set expectations honestly: structural repair takes 4-8 weeks.
  • Cognitive and mind-body care. Keith Kirbow’s dual certification in family practice and psychiatry anchors this lane for patients dealing with brain fog, stress, and mental sharpness.

In the GLP-1 and peptide programs, medication is billed separately at pass-through pharmacy pricing and quoted to you before anything is prescribed. Visit fees are published on our pricing page before you ever book. Cash-pay, no insurance required, HSA/FSA superbills available.

Lab Work Near Where You Live, Not Where We Are

Labs come first in every program, and this is where the region’s geography stops being a problem. Blood draws run through our Quest partnership, with Quest’s nationwide network of draw sites, so your only trip is a short one for the draw itself. Lab panels start at $99, the draw is included in the panel price, and panels are ordered during your consultation, so the panel price is your only lab cost. You receive your raw results directly from Quest, and your provider reviews them with you by video as soon as the lab returns them.

How a Telehealth Visit Works From Anywhere in East Texas

  1. Book online. Pick a time at our booking page, including evening and weekend slots that fit around a shift or a commute.
  2. Complete your intake and labs. Draw at a Quest location near you; your provider reviews the results before anything is prescribed.
  3. Meet your clinician by video. The initial consultation runs about 30 minutes with a Texas-licensed provider. No bots, no rubber stamping, and no waiting room.
  4. Receive any prescribed medication by mail. Filled through 503A regulated US pharmacies and shipped to your address, whether that is a street in Longview or a county road outside Nacogdoches.
  5. Follow up by video. Ongoing provider oversight, on a schedule, without the drive.

Telehealth in East Texas: Frequently Asked Questions

Do East Texas patients have to travel to Dallas or Houston for weight loss or peptide therapy consultations?

No. Every New Genesis Vitality consultation happens by video, so patients in Tyler, Longview, Texarkana, Marshall, Nacogdoches, and everywhere between see a Texas-licensed clinician without leaving home. The only in-person step is a short trip to a nearby Quest location for your blood draw. There is no office to drive to, because there is no office at all.

Where do I get blood work done if I live in the Tyler or Longview area?

At a Quest location near you. Our lab work runs through Quest’s nationwide network of draw sites, the draw is included in your panel price, and panels start at $99. Your provider orders the panel during your consultation and reviews the results with you by video as soon as the lab returns them.

Are New Genesis Vitality’s providers really based in East Texas?

Three of them are, and a fourth has worked here for decades. Keith Kirbow, APRN, Dr. Jeffrey McWilliams, MD, and Jean Davi Pellegalle, APRN, MSN, FNP-C are based in East Texas, and Dr. Jeff Beaty has practiced emergency medicine in East Texas since the late 1990s. The practice itself is telehealth only, so you will meet them by video rather than in an office, but the people treating you know this region because it is theirs too.

Can I use telehealth from a small town or rural address in East Texas?

Yes. If you are anywhere in Texas with a phone or computer and an internet connection, you can book, meet your clinician by video, and receive any prescribed medication by mail from a 503A regulated US pharmacy. Rural addresses are exactly who virtual care serves best: the further you live from a specialist, the more the drive you skip is worth.

Care From Clinicians Who Know the Distance
